Marie is an award-winning actor, filmmaker and acting coach based in Berlin. After many years of experience in acting and teaching, she began her exciting journey of coaching actors in 2020. Marie’s approach focuses on extensive scene work, taping deeply into the craft from the artistic perspective, and tailoring each session to the individuality of the client. She helps her clients elevate their work and craft and go from “hoping to make the right choices” to discovering levels of purposeful performance which allows them to be truly present and decisive in the moment, even with little to no prior experience in acting onscreen.
As an actress herself, she often pulls inspiration from her past roles like debuting on primetime German television as Kristina Schindler in the psychological thriller SUGARLOVE (dir.: Isabel Kleefeld) in 2022 and her starring appearance in DIE BÜRGERMEISTERIN (dir.: Christiane Balthasar), a feature film nominated for the Grimme Award.
On the production side, Marie has worked on the web series STRINGS ATTACHED, which is currently making festival rounds internationally. With this series, Marie was a part of a global team and wore many hats - producing, writing, directing, as well as acting. The project has garnered many awards including BEST DRAMEDY and BEST WEB SERIES at Seoul Webfest, BEST ENSEMBLE CAST at New Jersey Web Fest and BEST WEB SERIES at New Media Film Festival in Los Angeles.
Marie’s latest work, a short film entitled TICKETS PLEASE, is one she wrote, co-directed and starred in, and it is currently in post-production.
Let the work do the talking.
